Namaste Deepanshu Sir, respected LA team and learned members. I came across this old video from Sir, detailing Maha-remedy to be performed from Maha-Shivratri till Holi (

). Request your guidance – Can this remedy also be performed on Parthiv Shivling (made with mud/soil of holy river) and post Holi night visarjan of Shivling can be done? Also sharing list of offerings, I was able to gather from video + various comments. Please share corrections wherever I have mentioned wrongly.
For making star rangoli – Lal sindur/Kumkum, turmeric and wheat flour
For offerings –
Sun- whear flour/wheat grains
Moon- white rice grain/powder
Mars- masoor dal/ red dal
Mer- green moong dal
Jup- chana dal
Ven- sugar/white flower
Sat- black daal/ urad daal
Rahu – jwar/jau/barley
Ketu – black sesame
Remember to use items related to Saturn, rahu & ketu be only a pinch and items related to moon & sun should be more.

  Please help with some queries regarding the remedy: The star has to be made with water mixed with all ingredients, but wheat flour will cause ants all over it. Shall we include wheat flour? We have to offer grains mentioned to Shivling and then feed it to birds everyday?

  since ill be travelling can i start this remedy after i reach home after mahashivratri till holi? or is it necessary to start the rituals from mahashivratri only?

    I am far from any expert but sharing my understanding after going through comments of Sadhaks who have previously performed this remedy.
    It is best to start at Mahashivratri as it is one of the most auspicious nights but if you cant, always remember anything is better that 0, start when you can with all the Shradha and Bhakti.
    Might I suggest to chant a beautiful hymn created by Sri AdiShankara to worship MahaDev when you are short on all materialistic offerings. “Shiv Manas Puja” pray with all your faith rest leave to God. Jai Bhole.

    I am far from any expert but sharing my understanding after going through comments of Sadhaks who have previously performed this remedy.
    I have seen instances where people used only 1 ingredient as they wanted to focus all the energy on significance of that particular planet only. So all depends upon your Shradha and Ikcha. Remember we use all the ingredients to create balance and harmony, if you want focus on some specific energies, I think you can but up to you.

  Just wanted to know the Shivling that we will keep in middle of Star should be kept there till holi or do we need to pick up everyday next morning for regular daily puja?

    In the video Deepanshu Sir said, Shivling must be kept on the same place. We can remove Diya after each day pooja.

      Also if you can help me with one more query about how will I do daily puja of shivling like snan and all if I’m not touching/ picking it. And during this process if rangoli gets disturbed can be correct the disturb part ?

      Yes, I guess your “bhaav” matters the most. Shiva is far from the formalities. Donot doubt yourself for anything while performing any pooja. Just dedicate your prayers/time and yourself to him.
      Also, I believe in the video sir said so you can make a star again n again everyday.

  Feedback on the ritual. I started doing the ritual- offering white sugar to strength my Venus as I am going though a divorce n financial issue and I lost my job on March 3 🙁 Hope future holds something better.

  I started the rituals as said in video and after 3 days of rituals our ceiling fan suddenly got short circuit at mid night post this ritual.
  
  Any clue what this indicates ?
