𝗣𝘂𝗿𝘃 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝘆𝗮 – 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸?

In Vedic astrology, Purva Punya refers to the accumulated good karma from past lives. It plays a role in shaping a person’s current life circumstances, especially those that come without conscious effort—like being born into a good family, having natural talents, having ample resources for growth, having genuine guidance when needed or even receiving unexpected support in life for that matter.

𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙖 𝙋𝙪𝙣𝙮𝙖:

1. 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 :
* This is the primary house of Purva Punya.
* It shows past-life merits, creativity, intelligence, and children.
* A strong and well-placed 5th lord or benefic planets in the 5th house are indicators of good Purva Punya.
* The 5th house is also connected to mantra siddhi, devotion, and speculative gains.

2. 𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 (𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗮):
* Also considered in evaluating Purva Punya, especially in connection to spiritual merit, father, teachers, and guru’s grace.
* A strong 9th house enhances the positive results of the 5th house.

3. 𝗝𝘂𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿:
* The natural karaka (significator) for wisdom, children, moral values and dharma.
* A well-placed Jupiter can show the blessings from past life actions.

4.𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻:
* Shows the Chitta (mind), which carries past samskaras (impressions).
* A strong and unafflicted Moon supports the positive expression of past-life tendencies.

5. 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘀, 𝗥𝗮𝗵𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗲𝘁𝘂:
* Ketu especially relates to past life experiences and talents.
* Placement of Ketu can show where one already has developed mastery and hence detachment.
* Rahu shows where the soul is striving to evolve in this life.

𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗮 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝘆𝗮:
* Benefic planets (like Jupiter, Venus, Mercury) in or aspecting the 5th house.
* 5th house lord well-placed and unafflicted.
* Jupiter aspecting the 5th house or 5th lord.
* Ketu in the 5th house can show a deep spiritual or intellectual gift brought from past lives, though it may reduce attachment to children, romance or love affairs.

𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁-𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 (𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗮 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝘆𝗮):
* Malefics (like Saturn, Mars, Rahu) afflicting the 5th house.
* 5th lord debilitated, combust, or placed in Dusthanas (6th, 8th, 12th).
* Rahu in the 5th can indicate karmic lessons related to children, love, or ego expression.
