Dasha and Patterns of Life – Jaimini Sutram

Life in ancient times used to be much more simpler – a person generally used to do work according to their Caste and follow their tradition, Get Marriage and have a Family , for males they were supposed to do their Karmas whereas a Female used to take care of Family and live their life together.
Now a days in modern times everything has changed completely and with the rise of so many professions, marriage scenarios, new diseases it is difficult to understand every aspect of the chart initially and you need to invest a good amount of time in each chart to decode things to a deeper level.

Jaimini Rishi has given sutras to decode every event and see life patters and that is what we will discuss in today’s article. Before reading Jaimini Sutram you should be adept with the Traditional Classics especially BPHS and Sarvartha Chintamani as Rishi Jaimini has also clearly mentioned it in Chapter 1 Itself. It is also mentioned to use the Chara Karakas in the Divisional Charts as well in the same chapter.

Let us try to understand the chart below from the Eyes of Jaimini Sutram –

Your eyes should go to the Lagna first at all times – here Lagna lord itself is in the 9th house with Moon which is a combination of Unchanging beliefs and Depression – the native itself – although earning well is in a lot of mental stress due to Job and salary not rising.
The Atmakaraka is Moon and being the 5th lord and in Sign of Darakaraka shows emotions and nourishment will have to be given to Husband/Inlaws while the native herself needs to serve them. Furthermore the Atmakaraka is in the Navansh Lagna showing Marriage to be a Major part of her life where she will have to be the one to provide for Kids and regular expenses (5th lord in Lagna) and get outside help as well (12th lord of donation being GK and with AK in Lagna) – the native is earning but also is depending on the finance of Inlaws sometimes as husband is not fully financially independent as of now.

After you have seen the Lagna and the Atmakaraka you should have a Good idea as to what the life of such a person should be. Each and every Chara Karaka will give results but always start with the Atmakaraka as it rules your whole life and is just as important as your Birth Lagna – If the AK is damaged then the overall life quality is also damaged and in all cases you can confirm and reconfirm the same events from the Lagna and the Atmakaraka – in this case The Lagna Lord is going in the Navansh of Libra ( Spouse ) indicating similar life pattern as we saw from the AK.

The husband is of totally different Culture and it was a Love Marriage as we can see that the PK(Jupiter) and DK(Mars) are connected together – additionally Rahu and Moon are in the Navansh Lagna showing the same event and they have a family business of Different Culture of Food (Moon Rahu).

As for the Native himself I asked if She is into “HR or Fintech Industry” , to which she has replied that he has been into Fintech and Commercial Real Estate (Venus in Cancer in Lagna in D10).

Now the question will arise – How to Time the events? Jaimini Rishi have given several Rashi Dashas to calculate events but Chara Dasha is the Dasha we will use and see how the events are unfolding.

The Dasha that was running was Sagittarius which started in 2020 – From Sagittarius, the 7th lord goes in the Lagna with Mk Sun and Md,Gk showing Promise of Marriage to a person from a different Land (MK Sun) and as Jupiter went in the 12th house in Darakaraka Mars’s rashi – Marriage Happened exactly in Sagittarius / Scorpio Dasha. In the same Rashi AK and PK is present and Dispositor is in Leo – She also got Promoted in this Dasha (10th lord is also in the Lagna).

After Marriage Until the Dasha of Libra – Which has AmK and GK and Saturn PiK also aspecting: She was doing well but things were very hectic and there was not work life balance(Libra). Now Enter the Dasha of Sag-Virgo which is the 10th house from Sagittarius – The month this Dasha started within few weeks she got an Internal Dept Change due to which she was able to focus more on herself and her family and was able to bring balance in her life – The Karak of Family and Comforts Matrikaraka and The karak of Efforts the Bhratri Karaka is aspecting the 10th house which increased her efforts for comforts and give more family time.

Then exactly in the Dasha of Sag-Leo : Mars is the 5th lord in sign of Child and MD Rashi is of Putra Karaka : She had her first Child in 2024 end.
Additionaly note that Mars is the Darakaraka as well which signifies the Public as well : All the people around her now especially in her work is not friendly as behaving very professionally due to which there is no Fun or entertainment in her life.
Since The AD of Leo Dasha has started she has also started facing more Back Pain and Spine related issues as well and there has been troubles in the same since earlier as well naturally.
