How do we determine mool trikona of a planet?
Why is SA’s mool trikon 11(Aq), and not 10(Ca)? Similarly why VE’s mool trikon 7(Li) and not 2(Ta)?-
Namaste, I am sharing this from my limited understanding and I might not be 100% correct in my deduction, so please do leave scope for future corrections or additions to this. As I understand it, the planets draw energy from their mooltrikon sign (lets understand the term mooltrikon first, mool meaning root and trikon which is basically triangle, in astrology it’s 1,5,9, meaning that these planets will be supportive to one another – if you go deeper into it all the elements like air, water, fire and earth in the chart are 1,5,9 to each other, meaning that they support each other as well) – so mooltrikon sign is the planet’s powerhouse, which would indicate that the energy of the sign has to match the energy of the planet itself for it to draw the energy from it, like a laptop charger can charge a laptop and not a mobile, and hence you cannot expect it to charge your mobile with it- even though both the phone charger and laptop charger are doing the job of charging, but the equipment but they serve are different. Now if we take the example of Mars – Mars is an army commander, it represents the Police force, Army, Ambulance basically the first responders in our community – hence Mars which is a fiery planet draws its energy from Aries which again is a fiery rashi, where you act first and think later, the energy of Aries is also like that of a battlefield, and the army commander (Mars) feels very comfortable in the battlefield – and hence Aries becomes the mooltrikon sign for Mars. Venus is Libra as Venus is very prim and proper, its luxurious, it likes to have choices and also appreciates beauty and balance, Venus and libra both are naturally responsible for marital relationships where you need to create a balance, the energy of libra is aligned to that of Venus. Taurus becomes for moon as taurus is the sign of food, family – and moon which represents mother/ queen, food etc and we understand that no one can nourish us better than a mother and mother is a glue that keeps the family together, hence moon feels the most comfortable here. Likewise you can start to think for other planets as well. Thank you 🙂
