Rahu Ketu as we all know are nodes, or shadow planets (Chhaya grah). Because theyβre not present in their physical form in the universe. We all know rahu and ketu were the Daitya Swarbhanu, who consumed amrita during Samudra manthan by cheating Devtas, and was killed by lord Vishnuβs Sudarshna chakra. Though he had already drank amrita by then, he couldnβt die but his body was divided in to 2 parts Rahu the head, and Ketu the body.
If you look at Ketuβs picture, thereβs no head and a weapon in the hand, that means it has no senses but is working on the important sense, our sixth sense which is also known as Intuition. This is the reason Ketu is known as karaka of intuition. It creates obstructions in work, and unlike Rahu, Ketu contracts things. Ketu is also the karaka of sukshama jagat, means the subtle world, whatever happens in suksham jagat, it may not occur as a big thing, but it always has a bigger impact on mind. Ketu is extremely hidden, itβs agenda is always hidden but not destruction all the time. It gives the deepest knowledge of spirituality. According to our scriptures Ketu is karaka of moksh, because it can take you from materialistic world to subtle world through spirituality, and can make you free from all the worldly desires.
We all have noticed when anybody runs ketu dasha, it is the most uneasy time period in persons life, whatβs the reason behind it? Because it is trying to detach you from the world and giving you constant anxiety to leave everything and just relax, which makes us extremely uncomfortable and if we align our energies with it.
Native running ketu dasha should try and meditate regularly, and pay attention to the little details in life rather than focusing on bigger goals. This will increase the awareness levels of your mind. And you will start seeing the positive results of Ketu.
