What jobs should I look for as a fresher?

I don’t know where to ask General Questions, is it okay if it’s asked here? In one video Sir Deepanshu Giri says that it’s bad to attain knowledge from illegal means like downloading books from torrent sites, for such knowledge doesn’t fruits well, will someone share what karmik consequences does it cause?
